On Wednesday 19th December 2012, Manchester United hosted its 13th annual United for UNICEF Gala Dinner, attended by the full first-team squad plus partners, past players and celebrities from the world of sport, television, music and showbiz.
The event was hosted by BBC News Political Editor Nick Robinson, this black-tie event is a highlight in the clubs event calendar and celebrates 13 years of the partnership between Manchester United and UNICEF, the longest standing relationship between a sporting organisation and global charity.
Other guests on the night included Coronation Street stars Antony Cotton and Catherine Tyldesley, Olympian Keri-Anne Payne and entertainment was provided by girl group Stooshe.
All the money raised during this prestigious event will went to UNICEF, the worlds leading children’s organisation, supporting their crucial work around the world for vulnerable children.
