According to this mornings Daily Mail newspaper, Manchester United are ready to make an official bid for Theo Walcott when the transfer window opens in January.
They claim that Manchester United is Walcott’s preferred destination as, at this moment in time, he is unable to agree a new deal at Arsenal, if the rumours are true then it will no doubt make Robin van Persie even happier up north as both himself and Walcott are best mates off the pitch.
Since the rumours that Walcott would indeed not be signing a new contract with Arsenal, many clubs have been on high-alert including Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea, but it seems both player and club have Manchester United in pole position for the 23-year-old.
Walcotts current contract expires at the end of the season, the report goes on to state that Manchester United could bag the winger for as little as £8million.
Walcott has turned down a new £75,000-a-week deal to stay at Arsenal after talks with club, player and agent broke down.
Arsene Wenger would rather cash in on Walcott in January rather than waiting another 5-months to let him leave for free.
Would you like Theo Walcott at Manchester United?

I would hate to lose nani and that to to arsenal but the point is if he has made up his my mind then its better we sell him. Still I would try to keep him.
Speaking of walcott. Actually I am not surprised that we are linked with him. The moment I heard nani was going to leave the first player who came to my mind who could replace him was walcott. Not a big fan of him but you cannot deny that walcott is consistently improving. He is 23 so scope of improvement is still very much there. He has a tremendous pace and does score goals consistently. When we can spend 18 million on young (No disrespect) then I don’t see any harm in spending 6-10 millions on Walcott who will fit into the right hand side easily. I know all these report may turn out to be rubbish but if we are selling nani then I hope we buy someone who fits into our team. So if by chance we do manage to sign walcott (Which I still don’t believe) then I will be happy.
But my priority would be to tie nani to long term. If not then buy Zaha or walcott. No point spending 30 millions on rodriguez or any other winger. It would be better if we spend that money on a proper midfielder than on a attacking player.
That good news i will be happy to see him at united he is experience, quick runner, good goalscoring abilites but wat for our youngster in our team who is on loan i mean robby brady he too a winger i think and got national cap too he is working hard trying to improve himself game by game and hope he get first team chance he is dreaming for that.
Bebe should loan him in premire league team like wigan, reading, southampton or sunderland
