Despite continuing to win the Bundesliga, there is unrest amongst the Bayern Munich fans. They are not taking well to Pep Guardiola’s introduction of Spanish football. The Bavarian fan base has not agreed with many of the Spaniard’s transfers, getting rid of Toni Kroos and Bastian Schweinsteiger, but playing Thiago, Alonso and Bernat.
Now the rumours of Müller moving away from the Allianz is causing a stir in Bavaria. Team captain Philip Lahm has spoken out to address the speculation, claiming that Müller is Priceless:
“Thomas is one of those role models who you can’t attach a price-tag to. He lives for Bayern, he is a very, very important player for us.”
Müller played a crucial role in Germany’s World Cup win last year. Aged only 25, he already has 10 world cup goals in just 2 tournaments. If he plays 4 World Cups, like current top goal scorer and countryman, Miroslav Klose has, Müller is well on his way to smashing the record, that currently stands at 16 goals, given his current strike rate.
Van Gaal insists that he doesn’t need a striker, but reports claim that United have put a bid of €85 million on the table. Despite the boss’ claims, the vast majority of Red Devil fans believe that a striker is needed at Old Trafford.
Thomas Müller is one of the best players in the world, and United would be very lucky to have him in their ranks but, the versatile striker doesn’t really fit the Dutch managers specification of a fast and creative forward.

And Fellaini does?
(van Gaal has said that Fellaini can play up front).
I don’t think that at any point in history, anyone has ever claimed that Fellaini is a fast and creative forward.
So your question baffles me sir.
Just because Fellaini is to be played upfront doesn’t mean that he fills Louis’ quota for a new player.
