David Moyes questioned over the future of Javier Hernandez

Manchester United manager David Moyes was questioned during his UEFA Champions League press conference from a Mexican reporter on the future of striker Javier Hernandez, which was met with a positive response for the little pea.

Hernandez has struggled for first-team football under David Moyes thus far in the 2013/14 season, hinting last month while on international duty that he may not have a future at Manchester United if he wants first team football.

But Moyes has come out to state that Hernandez will play a lot of games before the end of the season, news that will no doubt make the Mexican international happy.

When asked whether Manchester United would let Javier Hernandez leave if he wished in the January transfer window, Moyes said:

“It is not a question for now

“He will play a lot of games before the end of the season.”

Javier Hernandez will be hoping to get some game time this evening when Manchester United face Real Sociedad at Old Trafford, all the match statistics and possible team selections are in our match preview.
