According the the Irish Independent newspaper, Manchester United have signed young 15-year-old Jimmy Dunne from Irish club Rock Celtic.
Dunne is set to move from Ireland to Manchester this week before signing an official four-year contract with the league Champions.
Both Chelsea and Aston Villa have been tracking Dunne over the past six-months while he was playing for Rock Celtic, a team based in Blackrock, Ireland.
Dunne is only 15 years of age but is already 6ft 2inches and he cannot wait to get started at Carrington.
Jimmy Dunne said:
“There were other teams interested but from the minute I went to Carrington, I knew that was the right move for me
“It’s a huge club with a great history and they have been very supportive of me right from the start.
“I know it will be a massive challenge but I will be surrounded by good players and excellent coaches and that can only help improve my game. I can’t wait to get started.”
Sounds like Manchester United completed their scouting report of Dunne while he was in action at the Milk Cup 2013, which Manchester United won.
