Manchester United’s midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe is set for a loan move to the Championship once again as both Ipswich Town and Brighton & Hove Albion have made an official enquiry to the club, according to Sky Sports.
Tunnicliffe has already had two loan spells away from Manchester United with Peterborough United and a short spell with Barnsley.
On Tuesday morning, Tunnicliffe played against Barnsley in a behind closed doors game at Carrington, coming off as a second half substitute. Rather than spending next season in the reserves it seems the club think it best for him to be loaned out.
Tunnicliffe, now 20, is very much down the pecking order to break into the first-team in midfield, so another loan spell outside of the club is a great option. Both Brighton and Ipswich Town will be fighting for a promotional place next term, a challenge that Tunnicliffe could thrive in.
