Manchester United are today ready to submit a third offer of £34million for Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas after the first two bids of £26million & £30million were turned down.
David Moyes was very open at his press conference in Sydney and admitted that the club are more than interested in bringing Fabregas to Manchester, CEO Ed Woodward is doing all he can behind the scenes to make the transfer happen.
Barcelona are very reluctant to sell the Spanish midfielder, with two bids rejected and their president insisting that he is NOT for sale.
In a recent statement from FC Barcelona, they said:
“The president, Sandro Rosell, has been very clear with Manchester United. Fabregas is not for sale”
Former Manchester United defender Pique has also very openly come out to say that Manchester United are wasting their time bidding for Cesc, he said:
“United are wasting their time
“It took a long time for Cesc to get his dream move back home and he won’t give it up.
“This is home. It is where his family is, and he is playing with his closest friends.
“He has told us he is happy and that he intends to stay with Barcelona.”
