Manchester United were awaiting fitness updates on three of their defenders. Noussair Mazraoui missed Thursday’s victory due to a slight knock and will be assessed ahead of Sunday’s match, while Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro are both doubtful after experiencing discomfort during midweek, according to head coach Ruben Amorim.
In addition, Luke Shaw and Jonny Evans remain sidelined in defence, although Victor Lindelof has returned to training. Meanwhile, Mason Mount will also miss Sunday’s game as he continues his recovery from a muscle injury.
Fulham have just two players unavailable for Manchester United’s visit, with loanee Reiss Nelson sidelined in attack and Kenny Tete also missing at right-back. Aside from that, Marco Silva has a fully fit squad to choose from for Sunday’s match.
Andreas Pereira will be up against his former club for the fifth time, having won just once in his previous encounters with United. Meanwhile, former Liverpool winger Harry Wilson will be keen to get one over on his old rivals, as he heads into the game in good form, having scored twice and provided an assist in his last five appearances.
The confirmed team-sheets have been handed to the referee’s office and Manchester United’s confirmed XI are as follows:
