Manchester United on Tuesday afternoon have completed a pre-medical in Greece for the signing on Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir.
Altay Bayindir held his medical in Athens, Greece with Manchester United staff before returning to Istanbul on Tuesday afternoon.
If the medical assessments are favourable, The Athletic suggests that a reasonable amount slightly above £4 million might be enough to clinch the deal for the player.

Standing tall at 6ft 6in, Bayindir is renowned for his exceptional shot-blocking abilities and a dominant aerial game. In his 145 outings for Fenerbahce, he’s let in 162 goals but has also recorded 44 clean sheets.
Though there’s a debate about whether he’d be the top pick for the primary goalkeeping spot at Old Trafford, he certainly appears to be a solid backup option with Dean Henderson’s future still looking to be away from Manchester.
Acquiring Altay Bayindir for around £4 million could prove to be a savvy investment for Manchester United this transfer window.
