Manchester United had reportedly over the weekend put a transfer request in to bring Benjamin Pavard to Old Trafford to sure up their defence as we look towards a new gameweek in the Premier League but it seems Pavard himself has chosen Inter Milan over Manchester United.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed this evening that Pavard has an agreement in principle with Inter Milan.

Given that Pavard is seeking new pastures and with his contract concluding in June 2024, Bayern are to perceive this as their last chance to secure a handsome fee from his departure. La Gazzetta pointed out earlier in the day that Pavard appears to lean towards a move to Inter Milan, having declined a proposal from Manchester United, one that is now seemingly true after Romano claims.
Beppe Marotta, over the past weekend, acknowledged the 27-year-old’s preference for the Nerazzurri. Simultaneously, transfer strategist Giovanni Branchini has hinted that the finalisation of the move largely depends on Bayern Munich identifying a new right-back to step into the shoes of the outgoing French player.
Manchester United’s transfer prospects seem to be dwindling as the transfer window draws to a close. It’s widely suggested that the club must offload players before pursuing others, especially following their 2-0 setback against Tottenham.
