Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford was less than happy at the teams performance, and more-so himself being substituted by Erik ten Hag on Saturday evening during the teams 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur down in London.

As shown in the video above, Marcus Rashford threw what looked to be a club towel down to the ground after coming off the Anthony Martial.
Tottenham Hotspur clinched a decisive 2-0 win against a lacklustre Manchester United in a captivating Premier League encounter in North London this Saturday.
The deadlock was broken in the 49th minute by Pape Sarr, followed by an unfortunate own goal from Lisandro Martinez, sealing the victory for Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs at their home ground.
Despite Erik ten Hag, the Manchester United manager, sticking with the lineup that faced Wolverhampton Wanderers, Spurs made a couple of adjustments post their Brentford stalemate. Pedro Porro and Sarr stepped in for Emerson Royal and Oliver Skipp.
Interestingly, Harry Maguire missed out for United, reportedly due to a minor knock, and amidst swirling rumours, Donny van de Beek was also absent.
The match kicked off with Spurs’ Dejan Kulusevski swinging in a cross aimed at Son Heung-min, but Son’s attempt was off mark. By the third minute, Antony of United missed an opportunity, followed by Alejandro Garnacho forcing a save from Spurs’ custodian Guglielmo Vicario.
A seventh-minute injury scare for United’s Bruno Fernandes, post a duel with Porro, saw him momentarily leave the pitch but return shortly. In quick succession, Raphael Varane’s two headers were off target, while Vicario stopped a close attempt by Marcus Rashford.
United’s continuous push saw Fernandes deliver an exquisite cross to Rashford, but the latter’s header was amiss. With the half-time whistle approaching, Tottenham’s offensive prowess was evident. Porro struck the crossbar, followed by Sarr’s effort glancing off via a deflection from Luke Shaw.
The opening of the second half saw Spurs take the lead, with Sarr capitalising on a deflected cross from Kulusevski. As the game progressed, both teams had their share of near misses and saves. In one such instance, Vicario brilliantly thwarted a header from Casemiro.
However, United’s woes compounded in the 83rd minute as Martinez inadvertently slotted the ball into his own net, following a challenge from Ben Davies. The evening clearly wasn’t in favour of ten Hag’s men.
The Reds will now prepare to face Nottingham Forest at home next Saturday, while Tottenham set their sights on an away fixture against Bournemouth on the same day.
