Jose Mourinho and Manchester United are set to announce the signing of Stoke City goalkeeper Lee Grant in a surprise deal which make him third choice keeper behind David De Gea and Sergio Romero.
His medical is penciled in for the start of this week, and the deal to be announced in the next 24-hours, according to sources.

The 35-year-old veteran will join Manchester United as a free agent and is expected to take his position in Manchester United’s reverse side. The arrival of Lee Grant will see the club send young keepers Joel Pereira and Dean Henderson out on loan spells to gain experience.
Lee Grant has a wealth of experience between the sticks and has around more than 500 appearances to his name in different English sides with the likes of Derby County, Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday. However, Grant only made his debut in Premier league in 2016 when he initially joined Stoke on loan from Derby County before making the move permanent in the January 2017.
Grant was named the Stoke City’s player of the season for that season making 28 Premier League appearances in the absence of first choice Jack Butland and also gave a man of the match performance against new club Manchester United where Stoke held the red devils to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
