Marcus Rashford has burst onto the scene in the past 12-months, and become more than a fans favourite at Old Trafford.
Now, the Manchester United younger has insisted that he will look to take aspects from the clubs new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s game in order to improve his own.
Rashford To Learn From Zlatan
The youngster burst onto the scene last season under Louis van Gaal when he scored four goals in his first two senior appearances, and eight in 18 overall for the remainder of the season.
Rashford’s form for Manchester United also earned him a place in England’s Euro 2016 squad, but he is under no illusion that his spot in the United fold is nailed down at this early stage of his career, particularly with Ibrahimovic now also competing for a starting berth.
You would go as far as to bet on Manchester United getting top four during the 2016/17 season, and there is no betting company better than bet365 for that, they never change their new customer incentive and also offer a number of free bets to place on, of course, Manchester United.
Speaking with MUTV, Rashford said:
“We can definitely all learn from [Ibrahimovic] while he is here, so we all need to take that chance
“It’s a massive help to be with him every day and it’s great to see what he is like on and off the pitch. There is a lot to learn from him and hopefully I can bring some of his game into mine.
“I’m preparing for the new season now. There’s no need to rush into anything – I’m taking my time, taking it steady.”
Marcus Rashford was introduced for the second half of Manchester United’s 5-2 victory over Galatasaray on Saturday and immediately impressed with a fantastic run through on goal which earned a penalty for United, which was converted by Wayne Rooney.
