Henrikh Mkhitaryan Moves To Manchester United

It’s done! Manchester United have completed the signing of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan according to a statement on the Bundesliga clubs website.

The deal is thought to be worth around £33million (€40million) including add-ons, with Mkhitaryan becoming the first Armenian to ever play for Manchester United. It was a transfer that was thought would happen, many of the betting markets including one we had put a small bet on with a william hill promotion code had suggested the Mkhitaryan was already done, but, many didn’t think it would be done as early as the start of July.

Borussia Dortmund and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan (27) will separate ways this summer.

Following an intensive round of discussions, Borussia Dormind accepted the Armenian Internationals wish to join Manchester United next season.

Borussia Dortmund would like to wish Henrikh Mkhitaryan all the best for the upcoming season in the Premier League and UEFA Europa League.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said:

Based on a completely new situation, this transfer was a difficult trade-off for us. Manchester made us a very attractive offer. Had we refused it, the player would have left us on a free transfer in 2017 and we would only have delayed the matter of a replacement for a year.

The transfer of Mkhitaryan is Manchester United’s third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
