Anthony Martial is football’s most expensive teenager, with a price tag of £36 million. Despite the transfer being frowned upon but many critics, the 19 year old Frenchman has 4 goals, and an assist, in just 5 games as a Red Devil.
The striker has been in England for nearly a month now; he’s gelled very well with his new team mates and, has Manchester United fans very excited to see the heights that he can reach in the seasons to come.
Martial, when questioned about his expensive transfer, replied:
“I know the fans expect a lot from me because of my price tag. But I’ll do everything so they can be proud of me.”
At the start of the season, Manchester United’s attack was disappointing to say the least. Brining in A.S. Monaco’s young starlet has surged the offence into life.
Manchester United now look like the goal savvy force of football that they have been best known for in seasons past.
After a disappointing loss to top seed PSV Eindhoven, two weeks ago, United look to get their Champions League campaign back on track with a win, at home, against VfL Wolfsburg.
