Thierry Henry, one of the greatest strikers in Premier League history, has spoken of his joy following fellow Frenchman, Anthony Martial’s, goal against Liverpool on Saturday.
The Independent reported the legendary super striker as saying:
“He stayed composed,”
“I call it ‘freezing the keeper’ and he puts the ball in.”
“I loved the finish. It’s a great finish. What a way to announce yourself.”
Mr. Va Va Voom was clearly impressed by Martial using a technique that he so often used to obliterate the opposition’s hopes of a clean sheet.

The £36 million 19 year old came on for Juan Mata in the 65th minute against Liverpool in the huge derby game.
His crafty run and emphatic finish gave Manchester United a 3-1 lead, just as Liverpool looked to be working their way towards a comeback.
Anthony Martial’s goal is certainly the best Red Devil goal of the season so far, and would have been the best of the game if not for Liverpool’s Christian Benteke deciding to go airborne, and smash an epic overhead kick into the back of United’s net.
