Manchester United’s world class keeper has a had a torrid summer, having his big money move to Real Madrid come crashing down at the last second.
He was also left out of the team, by manager Louis van Gaal, during the whole transfer saga as the boss deemed him mentally unfit to play in his team.
Now the Spanish star keeper has signed a new contract with the club that forged him into the world class player that he is today.

His new contract is the same that he rejected at the start of the window, with a big wage increase and will last for 4 years, with a one year extension at his preference. De Gea has taken to social media to thank Red Devil’s fans for their continued support.
I feel proud to announce that I’ll continue with you and @manutd. Thanks for your unconditional support! pic.twitter.com/I6J7XGHKe2
