Only being 22 years old, Paul Pogba is well on his way to being considered one of the best midfielders in the world. It’s a shame that Manchester United let him leave the club.
But, Pogba has commented on United’s new French prospect, and his national team mate, Anthony Martial.
Quoted by The Mirror, the ex-United man has revealed his nickname for the new Red Devil, and why he thinks the move was a good one for his countryman:
“I call him ‘the young old man’ because he’s 19 and he’s already so mature for his age,”
“I already knew him well, he has great ability and a huge amount of potential. He will bring a lot to the French team.”
“I’m very happy for him, he’s changed clubs now, he’s in the Premier League where he will train with great players and will keep improving.”
Pogba has always stayed professional following his Old Trafford departure, and has thanked Manchester United for moulding him. Let’s hope that the Red Devils keep their new French starlet.
