Deadline day saw Manchester United make two very different signings, one being the £100 thousand signing from Newport County; the other was the record transfer for a teenager, a whopping £36 million for Anthony Martial.
He took to Twitter to speak of his pride of joining Manchester United:

His statement translates to:
“Very proud to be able to wear the colors of the biggest English club @ManUtd”
He also thanked his previous club A.S. Monaco for making him the talent that he is today. This something that United fans hope David De Gea emulates by signing a new contract at Old Trafford.
The 19 year old Tweeted his thanks to his old club:

Anthony has been extremely professional during the whole transfer situation and doesn’t seem to be phased at all by the epic fee which has brought him to Old Trafford. Manchester United have a true superstar in the making amongst them.
