Manchester United forward Robin van Persie has been pictured leaving the Liberty Stadium on crutches and with his right-foot in a protective boot as supplied by the medical staff, adding further dismay to the clubs poor day at the office, losing 2-1 to Swansea City.
Robin van Persie had just recovered from injury to return for this match, started up top alongside captain Wayne Rooney.
As Manchester United attempted to get themselves back into the match after seeing themselves 2-1 down, Robin van Persie seemed to injure his right leg in the Swansea box. With no substitutions left for Louis van Gaal, the Dutchman had to stay on the pitch, with United basically down to ten-men.
Some Manchester United fans over social media have expressed their joy at the latest injury, stating that it could be a blessing in disguise as Robin van Persie has been off the ball this season, with many calling for youngster James Wilson to be given his chance with a decent run in the first-team.
