Manchester United’s under-21s have started off their league campaign really well this season, in the first four matches, Warren Joyce’s men have won three and drawn one and it is no doubt who the star man has been in recent weeks.
United’s new number eleven, taking over the famous shirt number from Ryan Giggs, has impressed over the past week for the under-21s. Last week scoring a hat-trick against Sunderland at Old Trafford and now, on Monday night he scored and assisted in Manchester United’s 2-1 away win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Januzaj’s goal was an inspired free-kick late in the game, coming from the left hand side and flying into the top corner, many on social media questioned whether it was a cross or a shot but the young Belgium didn’t care, it sent United into the lead. After Tottenham Hotspur drew level moments later, Manchester United won the game in style with a bullet header from under-21 captain Tom Thorpe.
