Manchester United beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 on Monday night in the Barclays U21 Premier League, helped by goals from the in form Adnan Januzaj and Tom Thorpe.
Warren Joyce’s men have made a fantastic start to this season’s Premier League for the under-21s, with three wins and a draw in their first four matches.
The match against Tottenham Hotspur was a well fought out affair until the manic final five-minutes of the match, with Adnan Januzaj striking a fantastic free-kick into the top corner before Spurs equalised just moments later.
It was Tom Thorpe who was on hand to score the winner from a Adnan Januzaj corner, heading past the Tottenham keeper.
