Real Madrid are highly interested in Manchester United startlet Adnan Januzaj and are considering a £33 million for the talented 19-year-old, according to Spanish news outlet Marca. However, last season the Belgian was tied up on a long-term contract that expires in June 2018 with Manchester United.
Januzaj, who is set to make his competitive international debut for Belgium in their World Cup campaign this summer, was one of the few positives to take out in Manchester United’s abysmal 13/14 campaign. Marca believe that Real Madrid are ready to spend big and that Ancelotti is extremely keen on Januzaj, who he believes has the potential to be a ‘future legend’.
In other news, Manchester United have been linked with Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, who featured in Germany’s 4-0 thrashing of Portugal on Monday. Manchester United reportedly made a last minute €40million bid for Khedira last summer, but it was rejected by Real Madrid. Reports suggest that Madrid may now be willing to part with Khedira, only of the price is right.
