When a legend such as Paul Scholes speaks, people listen. Today he has said that Manchester United are about five or six players off from winning the Premier League against and has also urged the club to sign Toni Kroos.
Paul Scholes is now writing for online betting firm Paddy Power, during his latest piece he said:
“The first player I’d bring in is Toni Kroos.
“He’s a top-class central midfield player but United need five or six to get anywhere near the top of the Premier League again.
“Edward Woodward has an awful lot to prove this time that he’s good enough at his job.
“He has to bring the players in that the new manager wants. It’s obvious that last year he didn’t manage to do that. If he doesn’t, we are not going to get anywhere near the top.”
After the arrival of Louis van Gaal at the start of the week, the club are set to be handed a transfer budget of up to £150million to make sure that the club recovers from last seasons disappointment of finishing seventh in the Premier League.
The one factor that Manchester United might struggle to attract players this summer is down to the lack of Champions League football, but the club and it’s fans still is a huge attraction to big players around the world.
As Paul Scholes mentioned, Toni Kroos is on that transfer wanted list for Manchester United, and reportedly the club have made a £20million.
Only time will tell to see if we can land Toni Kroos.

Remains to be seen how many players they get under Woodward.Must have realised by now he needs to buy big time.A good striker would also be a good idea, think Roon and VP are worn out.
Lets hope.5or6 is fine also as good as competing 4 some better competetions next term
News coming that united preparing to sell fellaini. I think gave him a chance we can used him becoz he has a good header ability. Just gave him a chance if he doesn’t shine then they can sell him.
A.young,cleversly should be sold
You wat united problem is ? That they have stop giving academy player chance. Fans should complaine them on that! We still searching a great central midfielder since roy keane and scholes retirement. If they had giving academy player a chance then we would not lost a player like paul progba. This boy will be best midfielder and a world class player one day
