GIF: Watch Jesse Lingard's Red Card Challenge For Birmingham City

Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard was sent off on Boxing Day for Birmingham City after this lunge on Wigan Athletic’s Jordi Gomez in the second half, earning himself a straight red card.

Jesse Lingard Red Card

Jesse Lingard has been on loan to Birmingham City from Manchester United since September and is likely not to play for them again if David Moyes decides that is is time for him to return to Old Trafford once his loan contract is up on 1st January 2014.

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark is hopeful that David Moyes will allow the Championship side to keep hold of Lingard until the end of the season, read more on that situation here.
