A welcomed boost for Manchester United as David Moyes confirms that Tom Cleverley’s injury, which he suffered on international duty is not as bad as first thought and is in contention for a start against Real Sociedad on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League.
Speaking at Tuesday’s press conference at Old Trafford, David Moyes said:
“There are one or two knocks and niggles, which most teams have. Vida and Rio are making good progress,
“Danny Welbeck has a little bit of an injury from the [Southampton] game so we’ll have to see how he is.
“Tom Cleverley isn’t as bad as we thought. Both have a chance.”
