Jesse Lingard made an absolute dream debut to start off his loan move in style for Birmingham City, scoring all 4 goals.
Lingard, arrived at St Andrew’s last week to help strengthen their squad who had only won one of their last seven games before the young 20-year-olds 4 goals helped the Blues smash Sheffield Wednesday 4-1.
No doubt that Birmingham fans have found a new hero in United’s Jesse Lingard, a hero that will only be there until 20th October 2013 due to his loan contract.
Lingard won the 2011 FA Youth Cup, and more than impressed for Manchester United on their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia.
Great to see the start of hopefully a very successful loan move to Birmingham City.

At 20 and at that rate Lingard should vie for position in the first team against the likes of Welbeck,Cleverly and Giggs. Its a High time we saw with Zaha and Januzaj in a more vibrant United!
Great to see Lingard doing so well.
After the Liverpool game I posted that Lingard and Januzaj should have been on the bench at Anfield because of their good pre-season and their ability to nick a goal.
I believe it even more now.
Don’t want to see Lingard on loan for too long, would prefer he got a go at United.
