Manchester United’s Shinji Kagawa has turned down the opportunity to rejoin German side Borussia Dortmund this transfer window.
Michael Zorc, Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director, has confirmed today that Shinki Kagawa and the Premier League Champions are not interesting in hearing any advances that Dortmund are likely to make for the Japanese star.
Zorc said:
“After the departure of Mario Götze was certain, of course, our first idea was to assess how things stand in the case Shinji Kagawa
“Shinji has always said that he would someday return to Dortmund, but after a call, it was clear that neither the player nor Manchester United were interested in an exchange at this time.”
It is good to hear that Shinji Kagawa has no desire to leave Manchester United this summer, there are many, including ourselves that have high hopes for Kagawa this season.
Hopefully he will be with the traveling squad to Liverpool for thier clash this coming Sunday.
