Nemanja Vidic has come out and stated that he believes that unsettled Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney will stay at the club.
David Moyes has insisted from the start that ‘Wayne Rooney is NOT for sale at any price” and a stance that the club seem to be sticking to after turning down two bids from Chelsea.
Manchester United captain, Nemanja Vidic has been impressed with his new manager at the club, but also praised the attitude of Wayne Rooney in training at Carrington while the speculation mounts.
Speaking with Sky Sports, Nemanja Vidic said:
“To be fair I am not worried as much
“Wayne is training well and obviously the club is really strong in what they are saying and they obviously know what they are doing and I trust in the manager and the club.
“I don’t go that far, but what I can say he is training really well. He’s good in the dressing room and that’s the most important thing.
“Obviously he had a few small injuries in the last few weeks, but he has trained really well. Obviously he didn’t have as much games, but the season is long and I think he will be good.”
