Nemanja Vidić missed Manchester United’s pre-season tour after suffering from sciatica, but today David Moyes has revealed that his captain is making good progress for the new season.
Vidić played 90-minute last Tuesday afternoon against Barnsley in a game which was played behind closed doors at Carrington, ending 2-2 and over in Hong Kong this morning Moyes has revealed that he will feature in United’s friendly against Crewe Alexander tomorrow night.
Moyes said:
“Vidic is coming on well. If everything goes well, he’ll play tomorrow evening at Crewe
Over in Hong Kong, Manchester United and the Chinese FA have confirmed that the game will go ahead after initial doubts over the pitch.
Moyes has a full tour squad to pick from apart from Jonny Evans, who will miss tomorrow’s game about Kitchee FC due to an ankle injury.
