Danny Welbeck has revealed that he is more than happy with his footballing progression this season at Manchester United.
Welbeck, now 22-years-old, has been featuring on a regular basis for both club and country since last summer and with impressive man-of-the-match performances such as Real Madrid away, admits he is happy.
However, Danny has admitted that he must improve his goalscoring return, speaking with United Review he said:
“The Euros was a really good tournament on a personal level and it gave me a lot of confidence coming into this season
“I think my performances have been more consistent [for United]. I haven’t always played in my preferred position but playing in different areas allows you to develop an understanding of the other attacking positions which can only benefit you as a player.
The one thing I want to do is score more goals.”
