Nick Powell scored twice last night for Manchester United under-21s as they beat West Ham United 2-0 at Moss Lane.
Manchester United started when Marnick Vermijl made a great move down the right to cut inside to shoot, the shot was re-bounded and Nick Powell pounced and slotted home the rebound.
It was not until the 89th-minute till Powell got his and Manchester United’s second after winning a challenge with the West Ham goalkeeper before scoring from a narrow angle.
