Jonny Evans has spoken out this month about how preparation is the key to win the big games, a thought that is no different as confidence is high going into this weekends clash with Liverpool.
Speaking with this months Inside United magazine, Jonny said:
“We’ve beaten Chelsea, Liverpool and City all away from home, they’re big games, which we’d gladly take three points from. In seasons gone past we sometimes haven’t been able to get results in those big games, so that is a big boost for us.
“We don’t sit there at the start of the season and say, ‘right, we need to win this game and that one’, because we know that football doesn’t work like that. But I think what we have done going into those games is to be better prepared.”
Manchester United’s form of late has been fantastic, not losing in the Barclays Premier League since back in November when Norwich City surprised the reds with a 1-0 victory, since then United have taken 25 points out of a possible 28.
Evans added:
“We’ve been doing well this season although we probably didn’t start the way we would have liked, but we have confidence in our own ability that we can go anywhere or play any team and win.”

Mr Webb the closet Manure fan will make sure of that! There is no chance Liverpool will win!!
Because your team is inferior to ~utd’s you need to find excuses elsewhere.. How pathetic can you get? Did webb ref the earlier league fixture at anfield..
Look within your own side and you will see the pattern that seems to keep repeating itself.. That is ye cant score enough goals to compete! simple as
I love that run-up by Jonny boy, what a goal!
