Ruud van Nistelrooy has backed Alexander Büttner to make it for Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League in due time.
Alexander Büttner signed for Manchester United in the summer as cover for Patrice Evra from Vitesse Arnhem, Büttner played the full 90-minutes against West Ham United on Saturday in the FA cup and is keen to prove himself as competition for a first-team selection against Patrice.
United legend, Ruud van Nistelrooy has come out and stated that Büttner could be a future star for the Reds.
Speaking with the Official Manchester United website, Ruud said:
“Alexander has made a great start, he needs a bit more time as he’s definitely somebody for the future.
“He’s been getting games in the Champions League. For him, it’s a dream come true. He’s got the ability and needs to learn to obtain more experience and he’s definitely somebody to look out for.”
