Japan’s leading engineering company, Yanmar, have signed a three-year partnership with Manchester United Football Club.
The agreement will reportedly allow Manchester United to utilise Yanmar’s expertise in increasing the team’s profile in Japan.
Manchester United’s commercial director Richard Arnold said:
“With 659 million followers United has a huge global audience and through our alliance we hope to introduce Yanmar and its expertise to some of our key markets, In return Yanmar will help us in our desire to engage with our nearly four million Japanese followers.”
Takehito Yamaoka, chairman and president of Yanmar, said:
