Press publications over in Turkey say that a deal is done for Kiko Macheda to go to Besiktas on loan with a possibility of a permanent move if loan is successful.
However, after two less than auspicious loan spells at Sampdoria and Queens Park Rangers, his career is now at a crossroads.
Milliyet say that Besiktas have taken a one year lease with an option to buy at the end for £6m.
The young Italian has struggled since he burst on to the scene with a crucial goal against Aston Villa, mainly playing his football in the reserves while in a red shirt. With Rooney, Welbeck, Hernanadez, Berbatov and even Owen ahead of him last season their was a very slim chance of Macheda making into the squad.
RedMancunian has been closely watching Macheda’s performances in the reserves and has to admit that we feel he will not make it at Manchester United, natural born goal scorer but unfortunately not along with the future plans of the club.
