Manchester United striker addresses rumours surrounding his future

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial was left out of Jose Mourinho’s side for the second time in a week on Sunday afternoon, with the Portuguese naming the former Monaco player on the bench in United’s 0-3 defeat of Leicester City and not utilising him. Martial endured the same fate four days earlier at Old Trafford during United’s 0-0 draw with Hull City, and it’s lead to speculation that Martial is less-than satisfied with his current situation at the club.

It’s comforting, then, to see Martial so publicly address rumours of Paris Saint Germain’s interest in his services with a tweet posted on Monday:

This will be of great comfort to the club’s fanbase, as many United supporters were starting to grow concerned about Martial’s lack of action and the public way in which Mourinho would frequently challenge his young attacker to show consistency.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
