Bailly targets long stay at Manchester United

Eric Bailly surprised everyone with the speed at which be adapted to life at Manchester United. Having made the move from Villareal for £30m in the summer of 2016, the 22-year old made 17 appearances under Jose Mourinho in the first half of this season whilst dealing with a troubling knee injury that kept him out for over a month of action. Bailly has looked assured, confident and has used his physical attributes to become arguably United’s most commanding centre back. Fans have been impressed with his quickly the Ivory Coast international has adapted, and, judging by these quotes run by Goal.com via Sport 360, Bailly is loving his time in England.

If there was any doubt about how quickly Bailly would take to life at United when he signed last summer, that’s long gone now. Not only has he impressed with his performances during his maiden Premier League campaign, but he appears to love life at the club, which always goes down well with the club’s fanbase. Bailly is curently away on African Cup of Nations duty with his country, but will be hoping to offer a helping hand as Mourinho’s team fight for a top four place in the league and for three different cups.
