United defender states that Jose Mourinho is best in the world

Manchester United defender and fan favourite Eric Bailly has claimed that Jose Mourinho is the best manager in the world & that he hopes he stays at the club for a long time.

Eric Bailly signed for Manchester United in the summer, but has suffered two injuries since then sidelining the Ivorian which has limited his game-time to just 10 Premier League starts this term.

Bailly, speaking with Sky Sports, was quick to defend the so called poor start from Manchester United and Jose Mourinho.

He said:

”He’s [Mourinho] a great manager, the best in the world, it is a pleasure to work and learn with him. I hope it continues like this and that I stay at United for a long time”

“I’m truly happy, with my team and my team-mates. Bit by bit, I’m getting to know more.”

Bailly signed for Manchester United from Villarreal where he had become a star player in recent seasons, picking up 46 appearances before earning a move to the Premier League.

In the interview, he added:

“From what I see, football in Spain, they also have a great League. La Liga is the best in the world, but here it is different, very direct, there is more contact and more strength”

“And like I said, little by little, and with more training under this manager, I hope to improve. Manchester is a nice place, I’m happy here.”

Great to hear that Eric Bailly is happy at Old Trafford.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
