Manchester United's Januzaj Off to Germany?

Borussia Dortmund seek to change their fortunes of last year by prying one of Manchester United’s best young players away from Old Trafford.

Last season, Dortmund massively underperformed and came 7th in the Bundesliga, after being close to the relegation zone for a fair part of the season.

Now the 2011/12 Bundesliga champions have set their eyes on Belgian Wunderkind, Adnan Januzaj to keep last season from repeating itself.

Januzaj was out of favour last season, in Louis van Gaal’s first season as Manchester United manager, but this season he has started 3 of United’s 4 games and scored in the Premier League.

There is the possibility that Adnan’s pitch time has been due to the interest from other clubs. Louis van Gaal may have been playing the Belgian to convince him to stay at the club.

Januzaj has seemed to push van Gaal favourite, Ashley Young out of the team, who had very recently sealed a new contract at Old Trafford. Januzaj’s play time may be reduced once the window closes and the threat of him being transferred away disappears for a few months.

In any case, you would expect that Borussia Dortmund would have to fork out big money to get Adnan to play in the Yellow and Black this season.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
