Manchester United Missing 4 Players vs Newcastle United

All of David De Gea, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Marouane Fellaini are set to miss the Newcastle match on Saturday.

David De Gea – Amidst transfer rumours linking the Spanish keeper to Real Madrid, he is not deemed to be in a fit state of mind to start for Manchester United. Sergio Romero will start in net for United, looking to keep his 3rd consecutive Premier League clean sheet.

Phil Jones – The English centre back will be out for the next game, and at least a further 3 due to injury. A blood clot in his leg has the player out of action. During pre-season he looked set to start at the back with Daley Blind but, in his absence Chris Smalling has filled in magnificently.

Marcos Rojo – The Argentinean isn’t yet fit to play due to him taking a late holiday. In the off-season, Rojo joined up with his national team and they went all the way to the Copa America final, which they lost to Chile. He should be match fit in a couple of weeks.

Marouane Fellaini – The big man is serving the third, and final, of his 3 match suspension. He did make a quick cameo appearance for United in midweek against Club Brugge, where he scored a last second header.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
