As usual the transfer season comes with all its controversy and rumours about lots of players and clubs. Although the transitions that the winter season is considered less in the heat than the summer window, but Manchester United seeks to strike new deals to strengthen the squad, especially in the defence and the midfield.

Let’s start with the defence line, which suffers from poor harmony between the players due to the large number of injuries that had hit United’s defence. So “Louis van Gaal” seeks to strengthen this line in particular.  The most prominent candidates to join this winter:

  1. Mats Hummels (Borussia Dortmund)
  2. Nemanja Vidic (Intermilan)
  3. Séamus Coleman (Everton)
  4. Dani Alves (FC Barcelona)
  5. Benedikt Höwedes (FC Schalke 04)

Jumping to the midfield, after reinforcing it with Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera & Di Maria, the rumoured deals are:

  1. Kevin Strootman (Roma)
  2. Ilkay Gundogan (Borussia Dortmund)
  3. Paul Pogba (Juventus)

The attaching line is more than fine with the Red Trio Rooney, RvP & Falcao, however it needs reinforcement on the level of substitutes after the departure of Danny Welbeck & Chicharito who’s linked with a move to AC Milan after his loan at Real Madrid comes to an end.

Man utd fc needs a creativity in d midfield in other to see the best out of the likes of falcao, rooney, r.vp,wilson.,i see utd clinching d league title

Looks like it could be boring football under VG,with all the back and side passing in every game sofar.Dynamic moving forward is gone missing from the back and midfield.Doesnt really matter who he buys, just something wrong in the so called philosophy, sorry dont mean to be negative but thats what s happening.

I couldn’t agree more. It’s boring to see the defensive players keeping the ball for so long on that part of the field. Many times I just don’t see the point of doing that.
