Manchester United launch £27million Luke Shaw bid

The season is now over and you know what that means, the transfer mill starts with rumours flying everywhere. Now the rumours do tend to start quite soon after the season is over but the Luke Shaw rumours are beginning the gather pace.

Just hours after Manchester United’s final game of the season against Luke Shaw’s club Southampton they have launched a massive £27m bid for the left-back.

£27m pounds seems a lot for a LB added to that fact he’s only 18-years old but it makes sense, it’s clear to see he’s going to be one a world class player in the future and if the deal happens he could be our left back for over a decade with Patrice Evra seemingly heading for the exit and Alexander Buttner not good enough to be first choice Shaw seems like the man for both club and Louis van Gaal.

Shaw has burst into the first team nailing a regular starting place as well as getting a call up the England’s senior team. Last week he was named in the PFA team of the year ahead of fellow Englishman Leighton Baines, this shows the level he is at already at only 18. Shaw is also tipped to be headed to the world cup in Brazil this summer. Speaking of the World Cup it seems like Manchester United want to get their business done before it starts.

It’s also expected that Manchester United will announce their new manager within the next week, maybe as soon as Monday with Louis van Gaal.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!

One reply on “Manchester United launch £27million Luke Shaw bid”

After watching him on Saturday I have no doubt he will become one of the best full backs in the world. For me he is already the best in the premiership, yes he is still prone to the odd rash challenge due to inexperience but without doubt it will be money well spent as we should get up to 15 yrs service from him.
