Robin van Persie would love to extend his time at Manchester United

Robin van Persie has revealed to the clubs television network his desire to stay with Manchester United way beyond his current deal which ends in three-years.

Manchester United signed Robin van Persie from rivals Arsenal during last summers transfer window and since then the Netherlands international has scored 29 Premier League goals.

The Golden boot winner has 3 years remaining on his current contract but is already looking ahead to extend that contract and continue to win trophies with United.

Speaking with MUTV, van Persie said:

“I have three more years to go and I would like to stay longer

“I want to play as long as possible at the highest level. Winning trophies is what it is all about.”

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
