Book Review: Play Like Fergie’s Boys

“Play Like Fergie’s Boys” previews Manchester United’s 2013/14 Premier League season.

Although the Red Devils have already commenced their campaign with a thumping 4-1 win over Swansea City, the book can still be a fantastic read for the Old Trafford faithful.

It includes inputs from famous journalists like Danny Taylor from The Guardian, Henry Winter from The Telegraph and Oliver Holt from The Mirror.

In addition, there are writings from various popular United writers including Scott the Red, predicting David Moyes’ debut season with the Red Devils, analyzing the various departments of the team and of course, giving their thoughts on Wayne Rooney’s transfer situation.

One can’t really call it a book, for, it’s basically the United fans and journalists previewing the new season in a comprehensive manner.

There are some witty quotes here and there and one can get a good knowledge about United’s 2013/14.

Personally, I found the book really interesting and fascinating. A great couple of hours to read it and even though one might be a little late to get a copy of it, I highly recommend to do so.
