Galatasaray have given up on bidding any higher to secure the signature of Manchester United’s Luis Nani.
The Galatasaray chairman, Unal Aysal has confirmed this week that the club have now given up on the Portuguese winger after Manchester United turned down their latest offer.
Nani, no 26, revealed at the weekend that he will make a decision on his future within the next few days, no doubt the latest news to come out of both clubs will not make Nani happy, having a £6million bid from Galatasaray turned down by the Premier League champions as they are after at least £8million.
Speaking with Milliyet, Aysal said:
“We offered seven million euros for him, but they didn’t accept. We can’t give more than this. We are not going to follow Nani anymore.
“We can’t give more than seven million euros for him. They want 10 million euros. Because of this he is not on our transfer list anymore.”
Luis Nani is also on the target list for AS Monaco who are more than likely to bid the full amount that Manchester United are after.
