Luis Nani to decide his future in the next few days

As we move into the summer break from the Premier League, one rumour that has been doing the rounds with fans and media is that Luis Nani will be sold by Manchester United.

Nani is set to make a decision at the start of next week on whether he is to stay at Manchester United next season or not.

Galatasaray are firm favourites to sign the United winger if he wishes to leave the club, a very much subdued season from Nani and with the signing of Wilfried Zaha, may push him to look elsewhere for regular football next term.

Ex Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had often defended the Portuguese winger but the arrival of David Moyes as the new manager has further clouded the issue of the player’s future.

Speak after Portugal’s 1-0 win over Russia last Friday, Nani told RTP:

“I have not yet decided where I am going or if I am going.

“In the next few days I will decide my future.”

With Nani being in last year of contract, demands of £120k per week wages plus coming of back of poor season .. Be lucky to get £8m for him. At best with a longer contract he’s a £30m player but non of these can be applied .. Be rid and move on .

He is a lot better than Valencia or Young so I will be sad to see him go, it all depends on what Moyes thinks of him and whether he is the sort of player that he wants at the club but I am sure that Zaha was bought with the thought that Nani would be moved on and would have been moved sooner if Fergie had got his man in Moura. I think that players will have to be team players to get on the good side of Moyes and any slackers or players that like to point to their name on the back of their shirt when they score will not be around for long.
