Wayne Rooney wants new Manchester United deal

Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney wants to put pen-to-paper to keep him at Old Trafford for the rest of his career.

Since the start of last week, when it was rumoured that Manchester United had made a down payment to bring Falcao to Manchester from Atletico Madrid,  the rumours of Wayne Rooney’s future started.

The United striker is said to have rejected the idea that he is set to move to Paris Saint Germain, and today The Daily Mail are reporting that Wayne Rooney is after a new contract keeping him at United.

The report states that Manchester United may push for the Rooney to take a pay cut from his current £200,000 weekly wage.

Rooney said back in 2012 that he would love to end his career at United, he said:

“Being at Manchester United for eight years, it is like a family club and you get to see all the history and how big the club has grown over the years and you feel part of that history,

“I said when I signed my new contract and I will say it again, I love playing for Manchester United and as long as I am contracted to play for this football club I will be here for a long time.”

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
