Nick Powell set for a loan move

Nick Powell is looking set for a January loan move away from Manchester United for some first-team experience.

Peterborough United, Ipswich Town and Leicester City are all interesting in penning a deal until the end of the 2012/2013 season.

Powell signed for the Reds from Crewe Alexandra last summer and has made six first-team appearances, rather than see him feature now and again in a, hopefully, good FA cup run, Sir Alex Ferguson feels it would be better to see him go out on loan such as Angelo Hernriquez has done so at Wigan Athletic.

According to talkSPORT, Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson, son of Alex, is looking to get the ball rolling on a deal before other clubs can come in for the future star.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
