No injury worries for Nemanja Vidic

Sir Alex Ferguson has played down the absence of Nemanja Vidic against Liverpool.

The reds boss claimed he opted to give Nemanja a break from the squad.

Ferguson insisted that Vidic’s omission from the squad at Anfield was purely a precautionary measure & he should be back for Manchester United’s next match against Tottenham Hotspurs to Old Trafford.

Sir Alex Ferguson said:

“He was just feeling a bit tight round about his knee and we decided just to give him a break today. Hopefully he’ll be alright next week.”

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
